OBJECTIVES AND METHODOLOGY

Obtain relevant information to support the formulation of public policies that guarantee the development of a national industry that supplies technologies for REI, with the capacity to compete internationally and produce positive effects on the Trade Balance.

The Methodology used in this work is based on the evaluation of the current scenario of the Electric Sector and in the Brazilian REI market, evidenced by the documents (Products) previously developed throughout this Project, including the international experience in the subject.

MAIN RESULTS

With this, the project elaborated a series of measures and recommendations regarding to:

The institutional arrangement for a National REI Plan; the Energy Policy and the regulatory model; and synergy with telecommunications as drivers of strengthening the REI market ;
Industrial Policy in REI (with financing; taxation, export and international relations) and Research, Development and Innovation ;
Norms, standards, cybersecurity and approvals; and the processes of manpower qualification and training; and the integration of utilities.
