The project aimed to conduct studies of the costs related to the quality of the electricity distribution service, starting from international research on the topic, development of econometric models to assess the interruption costs and development of regulatory models. The results of the study are important to verify whether the limits currently established by Aneel are adequate. Once the objectives are achieved, it is possible to assess whether the regulation converges to the interests of society, whether the current quality is consistent with the costs involved and which actions, in the medium and long term , will be necessary to obtain the desired quality levels.
