OBJECTIVES AND METHODOLOGY

The main objective of this project was the implementation of a software to support the activities of the Distribution System Planning area, integrated with Copel’s legacy systems. The software should improve the efficiency of the electrical system planning process, helping to meet the regulatory deadlines that involve electrical studies. As secondary objectives, the processes of the Planning area would also be reformulated, seeking to maximize the benefits of the new tool and facilitate the simulation of underground networks and with distributed generation. For this, Sinapsis supported the reformulation of the process methodology for the Planning area, as well as the application of this methodology, through Assisted Operation.

MAIN RESULTS

Com isso, o projeto elaborou um série de medidas e recomendações no que diz respeito a:

Implementation of a new software for Copel's Distribution Planning area.
Reformulation of the processes involved in Distribution Planning, including the automation of the process of preparing networks for studies.
Improvement in the impact analysis process of the distributed generation connection in the electrical networks.
Application of the new process methodology for the construction of the 2021-2026 Work Plan.
Development of a tool to assist in load balancing studies.
Studies to evaluate benefits and prioritize works of the Paraná Three-Phase Program.
Simulation and evaluation of the impacts of the insertion of automation technologies in the quality indicators.
