OBJECTIVES AND METHODOLOGY

The project’s main objective is the creation of the technological Roadmap for the implementation of an asset management system, including architectures of acquisition and transmission of data, and sensing infrastructure. The methodology for the project elaboration is divided in five steps:

1. Initial analysis and market prospecting;

2. Technical and Regulatory Diagnosis of the Distributor Power Transformers;

3. Benchmarking of sensors;

4. Development of Technical Specifications;

5. Roadmap & Business Case.

MAIN RESULTS

The benefits of implementing asset management features are divided into the following items:

Remuneration of investment in the sensing infrastructure
Increase in transformers' useful life and consequent gain in remuneration under assets
Reduction in the amount of undistributed energy due to avoided failures
Reduction in the amount of financial compensation for violating service quality indicators
Reduction of OPEX associated with emergency care
