OBJECTIVES AND METHODOLOGY

Development of methodology and computational tool to carry out the combined planning of distribution automation solutions and communication networks, aiming at enhancing the quality improvement estimates of the solutions, by including the performance of communication networks as parameters for calculating electrical reliability of the system. The proposed tool uses co-simulation to unite the dimensions of the electrical and communication system in the same problem. In this work, the electrical network simulator and the CelPlanner wireless telecommunications network simulator were used .
